Spotlight on Sponsors Nancy Heselton met her sponsor child, Thendral, on a trip to India. Impressed that the school is part of a vibrant community, Nancy is glad that Thendral can stay in her village while getting a great education. This nurtures the whole human being, opening minds and hearts. Read more. 
A Closer Look at Alumni Teachers An astonishing 15% of our teachers were former sponsorship students in our schools. After their training, these young people chose to accept lower salaries than they might earn in the city, in order to serve their rural community. Read their stories. 
Focus on Design When widows at Shanthimalai's Handicraft Development Society were offered the chance to work at home after their 2-month training, they chose instead to come back to the center, to work together. Happy in this supportive environment, they collaborated with three Americans to develop Angel ornaments for 2015. Read more.
