When people ask for the secret of Aruna Designs’ extraordinary success, we have to admit that we don’t really know! Our team feels privileged to participate in the wonderful collaboration with Premalaya Handicrafts, and we often find ourselves in awe of the way projects unfold.
M. Manoharan Sivakami (affectionately called Mr. Manoharan) is the director of the Mangalam Welfare Society (MWS), a nonprofit organization in South India dear to our hearts at Aruna Partnership. Supported by your generous donations, MWS provides critical services for abandoned widows and other women who are facing desperate life circumstances.

We want to highlight our new kindergarten program, Joyful Learning, and introduce our incredible head teacher, Kanimozhi. Trained in early education, including Montessori and Waldorf, Kanimozhi strives to provide children with a nurturing education where they can develop independence and curiosity.
The people of India are profoundly impacted by climate change, which continues to threaten agriculture, water security, and the livelihoods of millions. Students from local schools have planted thousands of native, drought-resistant trees through the Green Earth Mission. With this initiative, we hope to encourage future generations to take action.
